losing teeth
colors changing
shrinking down
hunch back
skin folds
cotton mouth
and not from sex
it happens to everyone
but it can’t happen to us
we are too young
too able
to ever be ancient
but it happened to my parents
they were never old before
until they were
and today i found a wrinkle
on my own forehead
a crease in my skin
like a tiny mouth whispering
and it said time has passed
it will happen to you too
